Stage IV (yawn)
#11
Per CA emissions, warranty and extended warranty I used Stage IV box cam 259E to keep her "correct".
My idea of running a different cam (sneaking one in) and keeping the HD "perfect fit" pushrods and TTS tuner for a unmolested visual is where I may go. The 888's are calling my name.
The "E" in 259 is for the dirty "E" word.

All it has is the HD Stage IV download and some very flat spots on the power band. The 888 is amazing (rode my buddy's stock 103 with 888's and tune WOW). The 999 might go good with the SE heads, 58mm TB and 10.5's.......sure like to know.A stage 4 download is not a stage 4 kit. Id find a different shop.
Curious was the Dealer Dyno just a download I'll go back and check his thread.
Thanks guys.

The bike has the Stage IV kit installed.
If you read the entire thread "only a Stage IV download" referred to "only" as in not a dyno.

This 2015 103 Stage IV should spank my 07 96" with Andrews 21's, especially up top. It might have a little on the old 60K hard ridden motor but not much.

Ok with that clarified if your bike isnt running like it should then no doubt it needs a dyno tune. Even a good fuel map from a very good dyno tuner needs some auto tuning from my experience. I wouldn't think a Harley download would be sufficient. I bet if your bought some dyno time from a good tuner you would be happy as a pig in sh#t

Talked to the top tuner in the area, he can get 100HP and the advertised 103 torque using the stock headpipes.........but nothing more. By adding a 2-1 or power duals he sees at least 10 more HP the same torque and up to 116HP from these Stage IV's. Air intake, head pipes, mufflers all make changes results vary motor to motor.
