oil light comes on at low rpms

Yes and No. They`re not gonna do anything about the crank runout, and still waiting on parts from the MoCo. I think it`s kinda` stupid on their part, but they`re gonna have to live with it for over four more years. Meanwhile, I`m gonna ride the **** out of this bike and just let them foot the bill the remainder of that time.

With crank run out at .010", if you put many miles on the bike and do ride it hard, the oil pump should go within the four year warranty period. Then, it will be time for a new motor. Have you considered paying the dealer to R/R the lower unit so you can send it to Darkhorse for a crank rebuild, true/balance and weld? Of course, you would be out of pocket for that cost but, as the say, peace of mind is priceless.

At the rate I put miles on it, the motor will be worn out anyway by the time the warranty runs out, so if it trashes before then it will still be in warranty. They`re probably counting on me to trade it before that happens, but I`m not going to. I like this bike a lot.
