Question Anyone running the NGK Spark Plugs DCPR7EIX - NGK Iridium

Just wanted to see if anyone is using these and if so, any difference over
the stock HD spark plug?

Cheers,

Mark

I had the same question. They look like they would work well but I found this with an internet search and nobody has responded with an answer.
There is some info and videos on this thread.

I even asked Fuel Moto about them because they would know about the anti-knock feature because they helped design the Dynojet Powervision.

I haven't used them, but just spoke to NGK's tech dept and got a good explanation of how the ion sensing system works, and they NGK plugs work just fine with the system.

Well, I put out this question to Fuel Moto whom I consider an expert on the subject, and here is their response:

I am not surprized that NGK said they would work without any problem with the ion sensing system. They run a business selling spark plugs. If they said that they would not work, and word got out, especially how it does now with the internet. People would not buy their plugs and the company would lose business.

Fuel Moto has nothing to gain or lose on this information.
I think that I will stick to the experts opinion and stay with the stock plugs.

I'm just sharing the information.
Anyone who wants to run a different plug, the choice is up to them.
It's a free country.

I'm using the NGK Iridiums on my 01' Ultra and they work great for me. I have some minor oil leaking from the valve guides, and the NGK's don't seem to foul as bad as the Harley or Champion plugs did. I'm sold on the plugs for my application.

I ran them on my '06 RG with a 95" build.
I did not notice any difference other than my wallet was thinner.

Since the stock plugs should only be used on 2011 Ion sensing, my question is, How about plug wires? Can these be changed, lengthened, shortened with no ill effects?
