Also posted this in Rushmore section, but figured I might get an answer here.

I recently found a smoking deal on an unused tour pack from a 2009 Ultra Classic that is the exact same color scheme as my SGS, vivid black with silver stripes. I'm trying to get everything I need to mount it and found out that the wiring harness for the lights are totally different post 13, and the saddlebag lids won't open with the older tour pack mounted.

My plan is to make a spacer block to raise the tour pack up a little to clear the bag lids, but the lights may be a problem. One of the parts guys told me that using the wiring harness for LED lights would solve the problem, but said that it's still several hours of labor for them to do the connections. Here's the harness that he's referring to. I'm good at a lot of things, but automotive wiring is NOT one of them. If I have to pay labor for several hours at the HD rate I may be better off selling this one and just buying the 14 tour pack.

Has anyone done this yet? Any suggestions?
