Hi all,
Currently the cruise control does not work on my 2005 Road King. The indicator lamp works, but the speed can't be set. I also noticed the brake light does not come on when using either the front/rear brake. This leads me to believe there is a problem with the brake relay. Any thoughts?

Check the fuse first before anything else.
If My memory is correct there is a 15 amp one that effects both.

 

Yes sir, the fuse was it! I really thought it was something else because the indicator light worked for cruise control....

Glade it was a simple fix for you. They often link things like that as a warning. Example on some cars it brake lights are out dash lights do not work.
