Anyone else experienced the radio going off when the front brake is applied? Sounds like a short of some kind. Any ideas where to look. The bike is a 2008 Ultra Classic.

 

Is it when you're moving and hit the brake to stop, or is it any time you hit the brake handle? If it is only when you're moving, I'd look for something loose that is moving when you stop the bike. Otherwise, I'd look for something in the brake light wire that is grounding out the radio when you let the ground go through the wire for the light to come on. Your brake light switch is completing a circuit that grounds the radio.

 

Start by looking at the front fork/handlebar ground. Make sure it's not broken or missing.
