Default 1996 FXDWG lighting problem

While riding Saturday night, my headlight and taillight faded out and my rear brake light doesnt work. My high beam indicator is on no matter the position of the switch. Dash lights turn signals and front brake light work. I am stumped. All of the fuses are good. I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated

The headlight circuit has power, because the hi beam indicator is lit.

It could be a bad ground in the headlight bucket, or the connector is loose.

It could also be a burned out headlight bulb, sometimes with a burned out low beam the power finds its way to ground at the high beam indicator ground.

Since the brake light works when you use the front brake lever, suspect the rear brake light switch on the rear master cylinder.

Unplug the wires from the rear brake light switch, touch them together and see if the brake light illuminates, if it does, replace the switch.
