How to remove rear turn signal trim rings?

Default How to remove rear turn signal trim rings?
Hi guys. i want to replace the rear turn lenses on my Road king. It has trim rings installed. After I remove the nut/bolt on the bottom of the ring. what next? I don't want to booger it up. Thanks

Work on side of the lip and kind of follow it all the way around it that makes sense. The are tight fit.
