Question Headlight plug, anybody know the name for it? With pics

Took apart my headlight on my 2006 SG thinking I had a bad bulb but the bulb is in good shape. I need the piece that the bulb plugs in to. The most I could find was what's called a single H4 harness. Does anyone know if this is what I need?
Thanks for any help

Looks like it melted. If you used a stock bulb, I would find out what caused that amount of heat to build up. An aftermarket bulb can melt plugs as they can draw more current.

Here's a replacement:

Heavy Duty version:

I have used small amounts of dielectric grease on terminals to prevent seizing and corrosion. Corrosion can make a bad connection and increase current draw. That can lead to overheating a plug causing melting.

Good luck.

overheating and melting is due to high contact resistance often caused by corrosion. Make sure that your contacts in the plug are correct and clean. You can use some grease special for electrical circuits or just some white vaseline to protect the contact from moisture.
This link includes H4 connector (that's the name... :-) in ceramic. Make sure you use the correct Amp tool when crimping the contact pins:
