installing gerbings and lighter port?
i just got my gerbings gear and then decided i'd want to wire in a cig lighter port to charge gps or phone for NAV purposes. i could have swore i saw a gerbings adapter to run a ligher port but now cant find one? i'd rather not just do all separate wiring and have 6 terminals hooked to my batt.
is there another way to add the lighter port? how hard is it? it would be even better if it would automatically shut off and stop draining power when the bike is turned off.

I don't quite understand,, do you want an adapter or a power port?

Use a relay to supply power only when the ignition is turned on.

07 wide glide
i want the port to plug chargers into. but the issue is more of a different way to wire it so i dont have so many wires runing into my battery box (very tight fit) and so many terminals stacked on the battery. i would really like the power port to only work when bike is running if it isnt much harder to install. i dont want to forget to unplug gps and have to walk.

Kuryakin Power Port will do the trick.
Here's one on my bike, just to the right of the tach. It has a rubber waterproof cap. Pull the cap and it's a cigarette lighter, I insert the USB adapter and use it to power my GoPro Camera and to charge my cell phone.

Although, if you're going to use it to power Gerbing stuff, I wouldn't use the headlight circuit. It would probably be way too much draw on the wiring.
In my case, I ran a separate fused wire from the accessory harness (always hot) under the seat to a relay.
The relay 'turn on' wire was spliced into the headlight circuit.
Then from the relay to a wiring block. The wiring block has separate fused connections for each device.
This way when you start the bike, the relay see's power and flips on the power to the wiring block/device.
