Default Retrofit 1940's Empty Headlight bucket

Hi All,

I have an S&M Lamp co. headlight bucket with amber glass that I want to use on my bobber. It's just an empty bucket. Any ideas how I can turn this thing into a working headlight. I realize I can retrofit a sealed beam bulb from another light of the same size, but I want to use the amber glass.

aren't these old lights a knock-off of the old-style tractor lights?

UltraNutz,
Thank you!!
Those parts from JP might be the ticket!
Also, I'll look into the tractor lights. That's a great method also if I can just gut one of those lights in 12v.
Appreciate the help.

the guys at JP are good folks. Might give them a call and talk to them. They may have a better solution for you. Also on this forum over in the Classic section is where most of the "old-skool" guys hang out, like IronMick and piniongear. Those guys are a wealth of knowledge...
