I've read several 2010 and earlier threads about rear turn signal relocation(and also the bracket grind option) to make room for removable backrests and bags.

(1) Does anybody have recent experience and pics of their rear turn signal relocation on a Fat Boy Lo? The older threads seem to recommend the Great Bike Gear Lay Down Plate and Rear Turn Signal Kit over either of the Harley options.

(2) Think I'll need a lift with my Fat Boy Lo, or can I reach between the tire and fender?
