I am looking for a location to put a 12 volt lighter receptacle, with a gps 12 volt power source permanently plugged in. The plug will be secured to the receptacle and secured to it the whole apartus will be well insulated including connections. I am putting in there has my gps unit has a necessary plug into a lighter receptacle and can not be hardwired,( I have tried it it will be in out of the weather, wont look bad and turns with the bars for no wire streching, Before I go inside the Nacelle any body know if there is room, Thanks JL

 

there is plenty of room inside the nacelle, yes. i did the same thing on my 06 road king prior to putting a full fairing on it.

 

Any tips on getting into the nacelle? I just bought hogtunes speakers and they push you to the shop manual. I have a 2011 FLHR.
