Default LED Lights and Load Equalizers

just curious, i haven't found any info online to answer my questions yet.
I want to put LED bulbs in my turn signals/marker lights on my 2010 crossbones. Does anyone know if you absolutely need or if it would be a good idea to put a load equalizer on the lights or is it ok to just put the bulbs in.
i know they draw less juice than the regular bulbs but i read a review once that it was recommended to put one on.
any help is appreciated.

it is not necessary on the newer bikes (09 and up) as the TSSM is setup to handle the LED loads accurately.

Put in the LED's if they blink faster than they ought to, you will need to put in a load equalizer. My '09 FLHR required a load equalizer.

I have a 96 Ultra Classic, I put leds in my tourpack stop & tail light. They are the ones flash 3 times then come on steady and its all done inside the bulb. The guys I ride with say they know when I touch my breaks. The regular tail light is led to, but just steady on break light and tail. I would like to do turn signals to. Got my leds from www.superbriteleds.com

Looking to do LEDs on my 09 FLHX. Did the rear tail light and HiD headlight.

Are load equalizers required?

Thanks

Leds usually need a load equalizer. My 06 and 09 have them. Badlands makes a run turn break module with a built in load equalizer. It's a nice unit.
