Default Custom build... Wiring Connectors and Pin-Out for speedo change?

Hey all...

So I finally went and built my own bike.... I'm putting some finishing touches on it now.

The basket case that served as a donor had a speedo (67197-99A) that I currently have wired up thanks to a friend. The problem is that it is going to be registered as a new build, but the mileage won't match. The current speedo has around 6K on it.

I have the opportunity to grab a later model speedo (67438-05) which I should be able to mount up. It has < 20 miles on it which is right around what I've put on this one tooling around the block for testing... probably even less.

However, I'm pretty sure that the wiring is different and uses different deutsch connectors. The one I have now looks to be a 12 pin DT series, but I don't know exactly which one.

So, a couple of questions...

All things being considered, is it possible to swap for the later model speedo?

If so, where can I go to get connectors and pin-outs for both speedos to make it happen?

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Thanks for that link.

Does anyone know what the pin numbering order is for the DT connectors?

It is two rows of 6 pins...

o o o o o o

o o o o o o

Across top of connector you will see #1 and #6
top row 1-6
bottom 7-12
Pin1=ignition
pin2=speedo input
pin3=
pin4=
pin5=Battery
pin6=Accessory
pin7=ground
pin8=trip odometer reset
pin9=
pin10=
pin11=trip odometer reset
