Speedo going to 0 while driving

Speedo going to 0 while driving
I have a 2005 Road King and once in the while my Speedo goes to 0 while driving. The check engine light and the alarm (key)light comes on but the speed shows 0 mph at any speed. If I stop and turn off the bike and restart it is back to normal. There are no codes in the memory.
Has anyone else seen this and is there a fix?
