....it comes from the factory wired to turn off once you place the hi-beam button in the on position.

in the illustration above that peppi posted;
1. simply cut the yellow wire on the back of the headlamp connector and tape up or heatshrink the wire coming out of the headlamp connector.
2. run the yellow wire to the orange/red wire on the accessory switch if you have one. if not, then wire it to the orange/red wire found inside the headlamp nacelle. Should be a spare connector laying around in the nacelle with a orange/red wire and a black wire in it.
