Default Purchasing a new battery

Decided to retire my 6 year old battery this fall. Are there any good deals on the internet or is one better off to buy locally in case you have problems with the battery and the warranty comes into play. Ken

Opinions on batteries are as plentiful as oils.

many people have tried different types of batteries but from my reading on here and other forums and my own experience, most wind up going back to the HD battery because of it's longevity and reliability. Yours lasted 6 years. :-)

To answer your question, you're better off just getting it locally. by the time you pay shipping on a 12lb battery from somewhere you're right back at the local shop cost. :-)
