Go to Harley website and type in Parade Fan in the search box, click on the link and then lick on the downloadable pdf file.
The complete install instructions with pictures will show you how to install the HD Parade Fan.
There is another fan made \by Lenale and I have no idea how it works, oterh than it mounts where the horn is.

I have a Lenale Fan on my RG. IMO it does remove some heat. How much hard to say.
I like the looks.
My first one fried on me They went out of their way to make it right .
The new model has a very strong magnetic fan it has a 2 second delay when switched on
and comes with a connector that plugs right in.
All it needs to mount is the cow bell horn mount
any question just ask

Not new they have been around along time. The HD parade fan much larger than one shown has been standard on some Police bikes.
For many that ride their bikes and touring bikes loaded down coming into town every little bit helps
Also when riding in 20 degree weather it makes a great hand warmer
