Converting 3 wire turn signals to 2 wire
Hi. I have a 93 Low Rider that I have customized over the years. One of the things I did was mount aftermarket turnsignals to my bike. I had a friend do the wiring as he was an expert on it. I'm not. Anyway, he's not anywhere to be found right now, so I'm sort of on my own.
The turn signals I have now work as running lights and turn signals. They are 2 wire signals. I am converting to Harley's bullet turn signals which are 3 wire. Do I need all 3 wires? If so, where does the 3rd wire go, to ground? If not, what wire should I not be hooking up.
Not sure of all of the ins and outs of this. I have a module for the rear to make them brake/run/turn signals. I don't know if this has anything to do with the front signals. Any suggestions?
