Default Wiring/Short Harman Radio

Hello my radio shut off. I checked the fuse and found it was blown. I put a new fuse in and it blew right away. I know there is a short, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem ? and maybe a start point to look for the short. Thanks Warren

It would help if you said what year and model bike you have. Easiest way is to add a signature with that information; then you don't have to type it when you post.

As for the short, I haven't experienced the problem but have read of wires shorting from rubbing inside the fairing. Should be relatively simple to find since the only audio wires are in the plug in the back of the radio, and the wires from the switch housings that plug into connectors.

You would get more of a response if you posted this problem in the Touring section of the forum.

Hope you solve your problem.
