i have an 05 ultra and the accessory switch is pooched...i can get the ignition switch off ,and remove the 2 screws that holds the switch panel
is ther a way of removing the center platearound the ignition {the one with all the markings.ignition,lock,accessory} in order to be able to get at the switch, right now not enough room ? is there something i'm missing ?

Did you take off the nut,collar,spacer? The cover should just snap off. Then the switch cover should come up over the ignition switch. All is explained in the shop manual.
