small screws from back of e-starter

Default small screws from back of e-starter
Hello,

My bike is an '87 EVO, and I'm about to install a kickstarter.
My question is: what are the purpose of those two small screws from the back of e-starter? There were a bracket connecting them with the OEM gear box cover.

Those are the " through bolts" that hold the starter together
Do not remove
