Its a 1998 fatboy.
Can you tell me the correct way to make sure that the coil is not working, how do I check it in detail?

I had the same problem years ago on my Fatboy when it got hot. It turned out to be the crank position sensor. Replaced it and was good to go.

>>>95% the problem is from the Crankshaft sensor position
>>>It turned out to be the crank position sensor.

Again. There is no crankshaft position sensor on carbureted Evo engines

>>> there's no power on both wires of the coil
i am sorry but have you put the multimeter positive onto white/black wire and negative to the ground? This wire comes from Engine Stop switch and then powering the Starter switch, Ignition coil and Ignition module. If you really don have a power on the coil but starter is working then most likely this white/black wire is somewhere losing the connection. But i cant relate it with problem only after hard ride though. I would check first if the bike 100% don't have a power on white/black at ignition coil and module but starter works and then check the right handlebar switch connector before start looking the wire problem elsewhere.

No i did not check it that way, i will ASAP, but as you said it happens only after a long hard Ride, when I drive slowly in the city for weeks it never let me down, only mountains or hard long rides.
anyway i will do what you suggested and I appreciate your support and help.

98 Fat Boy Should be a Carbed bike.

Look in the nose cone on the right side of the bike, there should be an ignition sensor in there.
See if it looks melted and if so replace it.
When it is going bad it will give symptoms like you describe.

Ck post #1 in this thread ,good example of the sensor.
Many don't melt this much. Look for goo melted
