Turn signal help please
2012 HD Sporteter 48.
Previous owner did a hack job on the lighting electrical and I spent the day cleaning it up.
I installed 4 led bullet style lights at each corner. Rear is 3 wire system.
While wiring it up I kept testing each corner and everything worked perfectly. Until I had all 4 plugged in. (P/o also cut and spliced together the lighting loom under the tank shifter side).
When I got all 4 lights plugged up and working the following condition happens:
Firrt turn bike on all corners work properly. When I turn a turn signal on rapid flash, the turn signal comes on but the green arrow stays on. Signal will cancel. This is on both sides.
However if I use the turn signals the running lights and brake lights no longer come on. The green arrows on the dash stay on.
If I turn the bike off key out and back on all returns to normal until I use the signals again.
I'm assuming I need to buy something anflasher relay a resistor or both but not sure what and don't what to hack the wiring apart more needlessly.

2012 should have a BCM and should be able to handle leds. have you tried cycling the 4 ways a few times. some bcm have a learning ability and some do not (not necessarily hd).
if you still have the ole turn module then ballast is needed, but you can make a system ballast and not individual.
