2000 Fatboy Fuse Panel Battery Fuse wiring question
#21
Got a new cheap multimeter that actually has writing on the dials that you can see Wasnt sure which Ohms setting to use, so I selected 2000K, When probes are not touching each other, dial reads 1..... when I touch em, it reads 0 so I assume I have proper settings now.
When I connect to ground or probe the black wire at the TSM socket, and probe the brown and purple wires at the TSM socket I get a reading between 1490 and 1500 for each
When I connect to ground at the ground point at the tank/seat location and probe the lightbulb socket itself at the contact points inside the light socket, I get a reading of around 1590 - 1598 or so in 3, and 1602 in the front right and 000 in the 2 other points of both front signal bulbs that I assume are for running lights. This is all with lightbulbs out of all signal lights, battery in the bike, and ignition turned off.
I also read the TSM unit itself with same Multimeter settings and get 000 readings between pin1 (GND) and pin 2 (V+) as well as pins 7 & 8 which are RT in and LT in on the module itself with all other pins returning 1
Hopefully I did it right this time
