Life Span of a Battery Tender

Hi, I’ll start off by saying that I know nothing about electronics. I’m using a Harley badged “super smart” battery tender, and I’ve been using this same tender on my Harleys for at least ten years now. I keep my Freewheeler on the battery tender through the winter and quite often during the riding season. I don’t think there are any moving parts in this unit to breakdown, question is when does this become unsafe to use. I should point out it has never given me any trouble, am I overthinking this and it’s safe to use until it conks out, or, I’ve had great service with this tender and don’t push my luck and get a new one?
Thanks for any input.

Hey Douche, I replaced my battery tender jr. a couple of years ago after using it for about 10 years. Still worked fine, but wanted something with more current technology. I went with one from NOCO Genius and am pleased thus far. Yeah, you’re probably overthinking it as was I.
