Hi All,
I had posted a while ago and am asking for help now that Im back on my project.

Bike was laid down on the left side hard. Replaced all parts etc. When I turn the switch i hear the fuel pump turn on, the radio turns on, headlamp on. But I have no gauges that work, no switches on the handle bars that work either and most of all no start . I am getting 12 volts to the main cable going to the starter but the small wire no power when I depress the start switch.

I think its all tied together . Does the bike have a switch/start fuse or relay? Also could be a wire but all wires are conneted and look good. Tried wiggling to see if my gauges would come on but nothing.

Please any ideas are greatly appreciated.

You need power to the handle bar switches before the bike will start. Trace back from there.

 

So basically follow back the wires through the handle bars or remove handle bar switches and inspect?

Ok everyone! Found a video on youtube that described what was happening to me. It was a 5 amp fuse that appeared to be ok, not blown but it was. All gauges work and the started does too. Now I need to get a full charge to start it .

It's the battery fuse. Red with orange stripe.
