Yesterday i removed the ongly tail light on my fender and added a Custom Dynamics License Plate LED Frame.
Running lights and turn signals works fine but brake lights doesnt come on I'm pretty sure they were working whith the original tail brake light. I cutted the OEM plug that was on the tail light and only wired the red/white and black to the new frame. The 3rd one (yellow/red) was the oem brake light i believe. Do i need to wire it to each turn signals to get my brake lights on turn signals? Already checked the fuse and its good. Last picture is how it was before. TIA

 

Can I just wire the brakes into the turns ? If so which one ?

 

Wiring the Red/Yellow wire would give you brake lights through your turn signals, however, your turn signal would quit flashing when you apply the brakes, as it would be receiving constant power from the brake circuit. I can't tell the year of your bike, but you either need a module to convert to run/stop/turn, or, depending on the year, a dealer can change BCM settings to eliminate the brake light, and no rewiring would be necessary. Depending on what your dealer charges to change BCM settings (it takes maybe 10 minutes), you might be cheaper, and easier, looking for, and installing a module to do it.

 

SOLVED: I went tot the dealer and he changed BCM settings, now everything works fine.
