Default cruise light wont go off with switch

Any Idea why the cruise light wont go off with the switch?

Tried everything and searched around, cant find anything.

Just had a rear tire replaced at stealership and now the cruise wont work, always had the switch in the on position but today went to use cruise and nothing.............wont engage at all.

Brakes lights work fine.......

edit....NO codes!~

TIA!!!!

What switch are you referring to? The toggle switch on the lower switch panel? Does the cruise control work normally? Does it disengage when the light goes out or is it just the switch light that is intermittent?

sorry for the delay.......

The rocker switch on the dash........the light stays ON whether that switch is in the ON or OFF position.

The cruise won't engage at all at speed.

Sounds to me like the stealership disconnected something when changing the tire, and didn't plug it back in. I'd take it back to them to have them fix it for free, since they messed it up.

yea I dont think they'd be too optimistic that it was their fault..........

Time is money with them.........they aint doing anything for free......

And they'd just say it wasn't their fault..........

NO ONE knows why the cruise light might be on whether the dash switch is ON or OFF?
