I have a 2018 street glide. Haven’t rode the bike for about a week. Got on this evening and noticed my voltage meter was jumping from 13-14 all the way to 16 then all my gauges would shut off. After about 10-15 seconds they would come back on to do the same thing. I’d just take it to Harley but last time I was there they told me my FP3 ruined the warranty. So that’s a no go. Any help would be appreciated

 

Check your battery cables at the battery terminals and grounds. You may need to take them off to clean them and make sure they're tight.

I had this issue on my 17, plus my bike would die on me then immediately start back up (I was on the freeway). Happened 4-5 times, then hard shut off where I had to pull over and actually hit the start myself. Battery gauge kept jumping into the 16+ volt red area.

Long/short. Bought a new battery. Fixed my problem immediately.

 

I had the same problem with my 2018 SGS. Dealer put a new regulator in.
