Default 75 SX troubleshooting no spark. Any ideas.

Searching the forums I found there is an ignition module that is a common failure point. I don't have any service or electrical manuals to help. I'll look for one on eBay. A schematic would be nice.

Any ideas?

i have service info for the sx machine.
send me a pm with a place to send it to you.
the ign is a capacitor discharge system.

Sweet! Any sources for parts that you know of?

go to the electrical section beginning and not the ignition module section as it will only tell you to go to the beginning.

https://www.regulatorrectifier.com/c...tion-coil-unit

call these people and see if this replaces both the old cdi box and ign coil in one feld swoop. the sx shares the same box between displacements.

would have to see what is in the library but i do believe there are other circuit protection devises, aka, for assy , ign and lighting.
but you did say you have spark, so in or out the cylinders as it makes a diff, good ole inline spark testers or timing light works here.

has the machine been rewire to one breaker?
for a grins and giggles test, jump power directly to the power side of the ign coil and then crank (do not leave on for too long not running). if she fires, then there could be issue with the machine's circuits and/or voltage drop on the single breaker if it only has one.
look for the KISS stuff like corrosion on coil terminals.
