Default Electrical problem.

Messing with 1998 Ultra tourpac wiring. PO never wired in and is an earlier model tourpac. So, located connector under seat and wiri ng side connector going to tourpac. Made a test jumper and shorted it.. Circuit is dead. Brake, turn signals work. Dash lights work.Running lights, headlight do not work. Starts and runs fine. Checked in and out sides of all fuses and both sides of main fuse. All ok.
I'm stumped, and need help from those with more knowledge than me.

Remove and physically inspect fuses

Also when removed use an Ohm meter and check continuity of each fuse. If they are all okay, then get a wiring diagram and start tracing the wires you shorted.

Ok...all fuses checked out good. The problem was when short occured it burned out blue wire connector pin. Heavily corroded and end burned off. Repaired and good to go. Couple more small items and ready to ride again after 37 years!

Thanks for your help, guys.
Ken.
