rear turn signals on a 2012 FXDC

Anyon know if the rear turn signals on a 2012 FXDC should be on when the bike is running? The front ones are and I thought the rear ones should be too. The blinkers still work. I checked the bulbs, they are singe filament.

The stock rear signal lenses are yellow and it's not legal to have them on when running, so that is normal. I put a run-brake-turn module on mine and had to install red lenses since they can be lit up when the lights are on.
