Advise needed as to where is an easily accessed wire spot (color and location) to pull switched power from, on a 2018 Road Glide Ultra?
I reviewed service manual and wiring diagram, but just cannot see an easy to access wire to tap into.

I am thinking likely a wire at the grey or black connector aside the ECM that would work? Sure wish the wiring diagrams were user friendly enough for me to identify those connectors.
My purpose is to use as an ignition trigger to delay power to accessories.

 

What accessory are you looking to wire in? If it is very low output it doesn't matter very much, but if it is power hungry spot-lights it matters a bit more!

 

Very minor draw, less than 1 amp. By "ignition trigger " I mean it will only be used to power the coil of a very small relay. The relays coil draw is all that I need to power.

Relays job is to delay any power to the accessories wired to it. The INNOVV Power hub is the device I am using that has the relay.

 

On two of my bikes I run a gps off the lighting circuit. The additional load is minimal and the wiring is conveniently close at hand. With a Touring model you may have more access options in your wiring than I do on my Sportster and Buell.
