Hi, my '92 lowrider signals light, but don't flash at high rpm's. I unplug the voltage regulator, they flash. Is it a bad voltage regulator?? Any help would be appreciated.
Check voltage at higher RPM, if it gets above 16volts then I would say V/R is bad. High voltage could cause the TSM to overheat and fail.
Thanks, I ordered a new VR last night. Was getting pretty close to 16 volts. Now I just hope my TSM isn't shot. Any thoughts on the Bandlands, TSM ? They're a fraction of the price , of the Harley one ? Just in case it is shot. Thanks
High voltage is not your friend. Double check all your lighting for burned bulbs. If the blinkers work with VR unplugged, I doubt the signal module is shot.
