Hi all and thank you in advance. I was riding last night and my 2012 Dyna Super Glide died and it came up the code B2103 System power output shorted low I'm not sure what that means and where to look. Also came up with a code U0100 lost communication with ECM. the bike wouldn't start and I killed the battery. I recharged the battery the next day and it started back up OK.

 

Start by checking the health of your battery, check your battery cables end to end.

 

I found the battery terminals loose. Checked starter connection and ground all good. Cleaned all connectors with contact cleaner. I replaced the bad taillight harness and replaced the bad dashboard indicator LEDs. Put lock washer on battery terminals and tightened starts and runs good I hope I fixed it time will tell.
