Default Speedometer too dim during the day.

I recently sent my 2011 Street Bob Speedometer Gauge to Eyezon Gauges to have the face and LED lighting colors changed. At night the gauge is nice and bright, but during the day it is so dim it looks like it's off. Eyezon Gauges said my gauge may have a daylight sensor that dims the gauge during the day. Does anyone know that for sure?

One would think that if it did have a sensor that it would dim the gauges at night instead of during the day so they're no so bright. That's how my Dakota Digital gauges work anyway.

I have the new gauge with the tach and all of the bells and whistles and mine shuts off backlighting during the day, it is easier to read the numbers with the glare of the lense when the backlighting is off.
