Anyone here have any experience with this headlamp? It appears to be very shallow depth,unlike the Trucklite which needs a Frenched ring to hide that the lens protrudes past the headlamp trim ring. It's fairly pricey ,but if it fits like the stock lamp and throws more light I'd go for it. Found it on Amazon for$211

Don't be fooled by the photo and drawings, its 4" deep front to back, almost exactly the same as my Trucklite!

 

I see what you mean,but total depth isn't my issue. I really like the Trucklite,what I don't like is that its lens protrudes past the retaining ring and the trim ring. I would have to use a frenched ring to hide that,which I don't want to do. The Grote lamp appears to not have that type of lense,actually it looks to me like the same shape as the stock headlamp.So I wouldn't need the frenched ring.Of course I would hope this lamp performs as well as the Trucklite,so there is my quandary.
