Default Is there a way to test a TSM part#68921-07

I have an 07 FXDL that came with a TSSM (security sys). Last summer, I successfully swapped it out for a TSM (no security sys). Yesterday when I tried to start it up, it would not turn over and I noticed the "TIP" message on the speedo. Turned key off and back on and she fired right up. Drove about a mile or two and the engine just died. On the side of the road, I noticed the "TIP" message again, although I did not hit any bumps or make any sharp turns. Again, turned the key off and on and she fired up. Then I noticed the left turn signals were not working when I actuated the emergency blinkers. They also would not work once I deactivated the emergency blinkers. Made it back home and pulled code 1121. I cleared the code, but no improvement. I checked the bulbs and for shorts to ground, but found nothing. So I decided to pull the TSM to check for a loose connection.
I found corrosion in that connector as the seal had failed. I cleaned both connections as best as I could, but still have the same problem and code 1121 (Left turn output fault). Is there a procedure for checking the TSM?

After doing some checking, I re-installed the tsm. Now the left blinkers front and back blink, but now they blink fast as if I have a blown bulb. And it is still pulling code 1121

First question, is the TSM installed in the correct orientation. The TSM contains the bank angle sensors.

Yes it is. I am no longer getting the tip message. The left blinkers are weird. Sometimes they work right, sometimes they don't work at all and sometimes they blink fast. I just found a wiring diagram and think I will recheck both purple wire connections. I wonder if the reset procedure for a TSSM will work for this TSM. Considering you use the blinker buttons for that procedure, I cant help but wonder if that will make things worse. Thanks for your input.

Just to follow up; I went to do some follow up work and everything seems to be working fine now. I never did the reset or any further work. Took about a 100 mile ride and all seems fine now. I always try to end my post with a solution for others who are having similar probs.

I was going to ask if you still had the TSSM, and possibly wanted to sell/trade it? Not sure if mine came with one, but would prefer to have the security system on my new ride.

Well, according to HD, I need Part #41000087D, which looks like it's a BCM module with the Security feature in it, and an added small antenna. I found a brand new fob on eBay for $25, but the stealership wants $55 to set it up to work on my bike. I just want to be sure that I have the right TSSM/BCM module to use it with.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I need the BCM part # 41000342C and Antenna part #68956-07. I already have the fob, but probably should verify that it's the right part, too.
