Default Bike Alarm ?

Has anyone thought or tried using the bike horn as an audio addition to the flashing light that the stk alarm and fob system uses

I know which two wires to use as i have played with a cheap pizzo siren but was wondering if there was a load issue using the horn

Thanks

Dave

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
Most auto manufacturers alarms are using the factory horn.

BUT keep in mind, that factory horn relies on the bikes battery to function.

The preferred add on siren that works with the factory security system has its own internal battery.
It will continue to function (audible alarm) even with the bikes battery removed or cables cut.

well keep honest people honest is a broad definition. truth is, if they want it, they will get it. it is a pain but the best defense are the fork lock and/or rear wheel lock, they will pass on to other machines unless they have a gin pole truck.
