Some idiot, not excluding myself, connected the battery charger reverse polarity. I know you dumb a__. The ironic part is I have been an electronics technician since 1969. I DO KNOW BETTER.
Any way, It would not start before this stupid move, unless I played with the turn signal switches. I made sure the battery was removed and the charger connected correctly and with a full charge. I then tried the security system alarm override pin reset. I went through the guide and when I put the last pin number in and pressed the right turn signal switch on more time both signals would flash 3 times pause and do this over and over again until I held both switches for 2 seconds , then 2 more seconds and 2 more seconds, the turn signals would stop flashing but I have not been able to get the dash lights, fuel pump or any other functions to act right. I sure could use some suggestions here. I know there will be questions and I will answer them as soon as I possibly can. Even if I have to go to the stealer.

Has your bike worked OK in the past? If so what changes, if any, have you done since then? Have you replaced the handlebars, done internal wiring, etc? Also what model and year is your bike?

 

Have you checked all the fuses, are you getting 12 volts through them?
What has happened regards the alarm fobs? Do the have good batteries in them?
