Stator / Voltage Regulator Help
I have an 07 SG with just over $ 90K. I have never changed the voltage regulator or the stator. I notice the other day that the voltage meeting would flucuate from time to time. I am thinking to be safe and not get stranded, I should have both replaced. So, should I stick with OEM or are there other brands out on the market that you recommend? Keep in mind that I use electric riding gear 6 months out of the year, so I dont know if there is a brand that has an higher output or not and or if that is even necessary. Thanks for your help.

OEM stuff is fine IMHO. It's given you 90k miles service, so if anything needs replacing you can expect similar service from new parts. However before you start spending money, do some diagnosis! At the top of this section there are two Stickies with details on how to check your charging system. Follow them carefully and be aware your battery may be the cause, which is cheaper and easier to replace! But don't do that if you don't need to.
