I decided to put in on the battery tender in my office and hang onto it. The tech at Detran told me I can do this indefinitely so I will conduct a test to see how it turns out. Again, I hate to waste stuff and I did not get what I have today by wasting money (I retired at 50).

Well you are wasting lots of future income.

I would not just sit on it, cause you might use it someday. THink about it, one year newer than what you got. What are you hoping for, for yours to die, and than use it for a year?
