2000 Sportster 1200 Won't start, had power, now no power

Hook your meter to the battery and see what the voltage drops to when you hit the start button. Below 9.6 and you probably need a new battery. You could take the battery out, charge it and take it to a parts store and have them load test it.

I had it tested at the local HD shop and all was well with the battery. It was a bad connection at the positive post. There wasn't any major corrosion but apparently enough between the spacers and connectors to cause an issue. I'm new to HD's, so I'm learning as I go. I have learned this. They are a ton of fun!!
