Default Splicing rear turn signals into the main harness?

Can I splice rear turn signals into the main harness?

Im using cycle visions eliminator tail light but I also wanted to run led turn signal lights as brake and turn signals.

I bought an adapter from custom dynamics but it connects near the battery adding more clutter and I'd rather connect them in the rear if possible.

I'd also have to splice both turn signal wires to splice to the brake line.

Is too much splicing bad?

yes, too much splicing is bad. Anytime you cut a wire and splice, no matter what method or how good of a job you do, you have compromised the circuit's designed electrical integrity and created a source for future failure.

I am not sure what your reluctance to installing the adapter at the plug under the seat where it is designed to go. You are way overthinking this, IMO, and making something designed to be practically idiot proof into something way more difficult and mistake prone.

If you study the wiring diagrams and understand how the circuit works, I cannot see any reason you could not install the module anywhere else.

Good luck!

If you solder and heat shrink the slice will be fine.
Where else would you have enough room to hide and mount the module if not under the seat?
Also some model run/brake/turn modules depending on your year are plug-n-play.

Thanks for the reply guys. I think I figured it out. I am going to connect the turn signals straight into the cycle visions eliminator with molex clips. Then I'm gonna add the Harley Auxiliary Brake Light/Running Light/Turn Signal Conversion Kit-69462-06D

Will the harley module interfere with the cycle visions eliminator? I think it might so I may be back at square one. Unless I just run the turn signals for a single duty. I just wanted more light in the back I didnt think it was gonna be this difficult.

By the way, I have a 2010 crossbones with fatboy rear.
