Default 07 Superglide security info

I picked up a wrecked 07 superglide with no keys or FOB. The dealer ordered a set of keys and informed me it came with a security system from the factory. I am reading a few different things and was hoping to get it cleared up. Is it as simple as getting the FOB programmed at Harley? Or will have to buy a new Security module and ECM? There was no Speedometer but I have one on the way. Not sure about the pin.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds to me as if it would be worth getting the owners manual. I had an '03 and the manual covered bikes with security systems and those without. A factory service manual will show you what the security system looks like and where it is located. It should also answer the programming query, although I suspect a dealer will indeed need to programme it, so it matches the module. The process may also be in the service manual.

I found a couple of threads on how to do it from the turn signals but it seems they are for 05 and later. Just really hoping Im not looking at spending 400+ to get it started.

Ill try and track down a owners manual. Thanks for the help.

You can get one from your local dealer - don't be fooled into buying off Ebay, as most prices are higher than your dealer. Take a look in the HDF Classifieds, you may be lucky.

Have you checked whether the bikes starts when you put your new key in?
Although it may have come with a security module installed , it would need to have been set up during pre delivery inspection and it might be that the security was not set up depending on customers request.
The turn signal security module is located under the left hand side panel and will have a part number on it.
If the security is turned on and you have no fob or PIN, then short of trying to contact the selling dealer with proof of ownership or previous owner if possible, you will need a new security module, or just a turn signal module without security.
