New Parts (x2) and still have issues
2005 FLSTCI Heritage Classic Fuel Injected
Last year the battery starting failing to charge. Batteries Plus insisted it was fine and I had charging issues. Some further tests indicated they may have been correct. I replaced the regulator and stator and life was good. For several months. These were after market parts with known names from a well known internet marketer.
Then just as cold weather starting sitting in around January I noticed the battery starting to fail to charge again. Then I had the misfortune to have a tree fall on my bike. It was in the shop for several weeks, got a pile of work done to it and I said to heck with it, do a new battery and a HD voltage regulator.
Things were great until two weeks ago. It would barely make it past the compression stroke to start. I headed home and it would not start by the time I was here.
I have a decent charger with diagnostics onboard. The battery was low, I charged it, then tested it. All good. I checked the stator output with a meter, good. And checked the alternator with the charger diagnostics. All good.
For two weeks it was fine. Then last night I went for a ride and as I was leaving my second stop, once again it barely managed to crank.
So does anyone have any ideas? I'm fresh out.

If you disconnect your black cable from the battery, run an ammeter between the cable and the battery to see if you have a power drain. You will have a little bit of one if you have a security system but it should be less than 1 amp draw. In all actuality you should have a max of .5A draw. If you find that you do pull fuses to see which circuit the drain is on then you can track down the culprit.
