Default Brake light Issues.

I think I need to add two diodes to prevent the turn signals from connecting, while still allowing the brake to activate the light.

The problem stems from two brake wires from the light bar and only one brake wire from the bike.

What size diode do I need and any other thoughts on my solution?

When I hit a turn signal, both turn on because the brake wire is completing a circuit between the two.

Not sure what you're trying to do Jack?
With this set up will the turn signal ever work when you have the brake on, doesn't look like it. Maybe you could get a converter ?

Thanks for the wiring diagram! The light in the far right is what I have. And I'm trying to connect it to a 2009 Roadking. The problem is that I am not using the tribar/facia. I can get the run/turn/stop module, but I will still have to figure out how to connect a 2009 'jumper' (the wire bundle that runs inside the rear fender) to the tailight.

The tailight has a 12pin connector (with 8 wires/pins being used) and the 'jumper' terminates at a 6pin connector. See the jumper circled in the picture.

The red circle is the part I'm connecting to the light bar.

What I did was clip off both harnesses/commectors/terminals and solder wire to wire.

The issue I ran into was one brake wire from the bike and two brake wires from the light bar (which are also the turn signal wires)

Couldn't you just buy that connector and the module?

I think that will work!

I just need to find the part numbers.
