So I am trying to run my bike without the stock fender (see attached), but I came across these four electrical modules that look like some form of grounding. Can anyone tell me what these are called since I cant find them in the microfiche? Can I ride the bike with each of these things dangling and not seated in their "saddles" attached to the rear fender?

Any suggestion on how I can restore this system without replacing the back fender?
